The Deaguero's

One of my baby cousins got married to the man of her dreams. I grew up with Laine for the first little of her life and then her family moved to Arkansas. So, once I went to college, we were, again, living in the same town. She was in elementary/middle school when I moved to Searcy for college. We spent a lot of time together in the years going forward, and she became more of a little sister than cousin.

A couple of months ago she brought home a man that she introduced as her boyfriend. I quickly realized that he meant more to her than any other boyfriend of the past had meant. A couple of weeks after we all met Cody, Kelly, Laine's mom passed away. Cody was there by her side when it mattered the most. A month or so later, Laine called me to tell me that Cody had proposed. I was ecstatic for the both of them.

From that point on wedding planning began. We had a Taco 'bout Love themed wedding shower for Laine weeks before the wedding and we all had a blast. Finally, the day arrived. It was a day full of emotions for everyone.

It makes me so very happy to see Laine this happy. It's the biggest smile I've seen on her in months. I am so glad there is someone else who will also be looking out for her wellbeing at all times.

Thank you to Andrea Livingston for some of the pictures during the ceremony!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Deaguero, I wish you two a life time of happiness and a life filled with wonderful adventures.
